What it is

Typical clinical symptoms
- Pain in one or several body regions
- Increased sensitivity and reduced load tolerance
- Symptom fluctuation without a clear new injury

Persistent Pain
When is medical reassessment needed?
New or progressive pain with fever, unexplained weight loss, a history of cancer, fracture risk after trauma, neurological weakness, saddle numbness, bladder or bowel change, or loss of balance requires prompt or emergency assessment according to the symptoms.
