When considered
- Selected tendon and fascia presentations
- A superficial area identified during assessment
- A plan with measurable symptoms and functional outcomes
Role in the plan
It is an adjunct to a plan that may include education, graded exercise and load modification. More intensity is not automatically better.
Before use
- Confirm that radial treatment matches the assessed area and objective
- Review local sensation, skin and tissue integrity
- Check bleeding risk and device-specific contraindications
- Monitor response during treatment and over the following days
